To All CPF participants, Local 95 has been notified by the IUOE that the Central Pension Fund Actuary reported there is an increased number of participants in the Central Pension Fund, who have not furnished the Fund with their dates of birth and other census information.
In order for the Fund Actuary to accurately value the plan’s liabilities and assess the Fund’s health, it is important that the Central Pension Fund has the most complete census data possible.
Also, this will enable the Fund to make prudent decisions concerning possible plan improvements, as well as keeping in contact with participants during their working careers and furnishing them with semi-annual statements.
To all members who are participants in the Central Pension Fund, it is with great importance of completing and returning the Central Pension Fund current Basic Data card, if you have not already done so.
The Basic Data form can be obtained from the Fund’s website by clicking the CPF Form Link below.
It is IMPERATIVE that this form be filled out and returned via FAX or MAIL as soon as possible. (please consider doing so by November 30th.)
The International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 95
is a progressive trade union that represents the Stationary
Operating Engineers and skilled trades, as well as certain
municipal and clerical employees. The goal of union membership
is to ensure fair and adequate working conditions for those
members we represent. We believe in the rights of workers to
expect a fair day's pay for a day's work. We believe that union
members are individuals who realize that the privilege of
membership is not to be taken for granted, but requires a
continued commitment by all of us to maintain and improve
our skills and our way of life. We believe that skilled labor is
much more efficient and also provides for a safer work environment
on any and every job site.
